Coarse Bubble Diffusers

Coarse bubble diffusers are used where mixing and clog resistance matter more than transfer efficiency. Large bubbles create a strong rising current that prevents settlement in equalisation tanks and keeps sludge thickening and pre-aeration stages homogeneous. In high solids environments they need far less maintenance than fine bubble membranes, and their simple construction keeps running costs low.
